Walter Labs, Inc. ("Walter Labs," "we," "us") operates the Risa mobile
application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect,
use, and share information when you use Risa.
Information We Collect

Alarm Data (on device): Alarm times, repeat days, and
settings you create are stored on your device to run the App.

Speech and Microphone Data: The wake challenge uses
Apple's Speech framework to detect your affirmation. Audio may be
processed by Apple to generate a transcription. We do not store audio
recordings, and transcriptions are shown in the App and not intended to
be stored on our servers.

Usage and Diagnostics: We use PostHog to collect
analytics such as app events (for example, alarms created or onboarding
steps completed), device information (like device model, OS version, IP
address), and approximate location derived from IP.

Session Replay: PostHog session replay may capture
screen content and interactions (including text and images) to help us
understand and improve the product.

Subscription Data: Purchases are processed by Apple. We
use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and receive subscription status
and entitlement information, but not your full payment details.

Support Communications: If you contact us, we receive
the information you provide such as your email address and message.
How We Use Information
- Provide and operate the App and its alarm features.
- Enable the wake challenge and speech matching.
- Improve performance, reliability, and user experience.

How We Share Information

Service Providers: We share information with providers
that help us operate the App, such as Apple (App Store and Speech
services), RevenueCat (subscription management), and PostHog (analytics
and session replay).

Business Transfers: If Walter Labs is involved in a
merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as
part of that transaction.
Your Choices
- You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

You can choose to stop using the App and delete it to remove on-device
alarm data.
Data Retention
Alarm data stays on your device unless you delete the App or remove alarms.
We retain analytics and support data only as long as needed for the
purposes described in this policy and for legal compliance.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no
system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Risa is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children.
International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries outside of your own. We
take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards where required.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post changes
on this page and update the effective date.
